elcome to our new web site. We hope and pray that it will inspire you to investigate how a relationship with Jesus Christ might bring you  peace, joy and fulfilment or encourage you to come and worship with us.

A word about the design. The background of rough timbere symbolises the cross on which our Saviour sacrificed himself so that we might be saved. The banner symbolises the main centres of our parish, which is dominated by 3 mountains — Mt Cooroy, which overlooks the town of Cooroy wherein is The Church of the Holy Nativity. Mt Cooroora overlooks Pomona, which has The Church of the Good Shepherd. And Mt Pinbarren is on the way to Kin Kin where St Luke’s is our centre there. The 4th centre is at Boreen Point, housed in a cottage which was given to the parish by Ms Roberts and is hence named Roberts’ House.

The crosses on the top of each mountain symbolise Christ’s sovereignty over our community and the 3 crosses on Golgotha where Jesus made His once and for all time sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins.

Our Parish Prayer

Praise to you, Father God, for the life you have given us and the fellowship we share. Bless this parish in which we live, make us sound in faith, holy in life and unselfish in heart, that we may serve you in truth and know your blessing as your children. Grant us, Lord, a steadfast heart in serving you, an understanding mind in knowing you and a loving spirit in embracing you, for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
