The Alpha course has been organised by the Holy Trinity Church, Brompton. U.K. It is a dynamic presentation of the Christian faith, usually run over a ten week period, which offers guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in the context of the Christian faith.

A special feature of the course is a weekend away, focusing on the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit. Alpha knows no age barriers, and is reaching both the older and younger generations in over 131 countries. It has been translated into 47 languages and has been adopted by Christian churches and organisations of every background and denomination.
